If accepted as a member, I pledge that:

I will comply with the rules and regulations of the Arizona Pekingese Club and of the American Kennel Club.

I will act at all times to uphold and preserve the Arizona Pekingese Club for the betterment of the breed.

In my breeding program I will make every effort to breed only from Pekingese of genetically sound background, good temperament and quality.

I will never sell any of my dogs to pet shops or wholesalers or any individual that does not give evidence of being willing to care for the dog in a suitable manner.

I will not engage in false advertising nor will I malign my competitors by making false statements regarding their breeding practices or their person.

As an exhibitor, I will practice good sportsmanship, good ring manners and courtesy to judges and fellow exhibitors.

Further, I agree that if I fail to adhere to any of the foregoing, this will constitute conduct injurious to the welfare or character of the club and the Pekingese breed. For which conduct I will be subject to disciplinary action by the Board of Directors of the Arizona Pekingese Club with a report sent to The American Kennel Club, at the Board's discretion.
