In the videos presented on this web page, I believe it is important to present the info card for the painting which gives the artist name, the title of the painting, and the media, as well as the art image. I would have liked to have seen the size of the entry on the card, but that data was not on the card. Without knowing the size of the painting it is hard to judge its real size via the photos as presented.

My intent in photographing all the art entries in the show is to appreciate each entry in the full context of all other entries and to promote artists participating in the show. Via this web page, the art show can enjoy an extended audience, geographical range, and indefinite non-expiring time to view and reference the beautiful art done by the artists. Photographing the entries in the show promotes the artist and helps connect their art with potential buyers. It is also a way to study the work more closely and to remember the artist and their art. If you are lucky to meet them in person you can appreciate and discuss their work with them. I find that when I visit the gallery, I only see and remember some things and not others that perhaps I missed. With the video and photographs, you can view and view again, and I do see things differently each time I view the video or examine the photographs.
